Conditions of B&B Klein Ockenburgh

We do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. To keep expectations clear for both sides, the conditions below apply to every reservation.

Agreement when booking

By making a booking, the guest confirms that they have read and agree to these general conditions.

Rates and tourist tax

Our rates are based on one night for two guests, including breakfast and unlimited coffee and tea during the stay.

All prices include the applicable VAT rate and exclude tourist tax. Tourist tax is set by the municipality of The Hague and in 2026 amounts to EUR 6.20 per person per night.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is available between 13:00 and 14:00. Outside these hours, we use a key safe and will welcome you later.

Check-out is available between 08:00 and 10:30.

Booking and payment

Bookings can be made through our website or via bedandbreakfast.nl. When you book through our website, we will send a confirmation by email with the invoice and payment instructions after receiving the reservation. The reservation is final once full payment has been received.

Any additional costs incurred during the stay must be settled at check-out. Payment can be made in cash or digitally via a payment request.

If payment is not made on time, the guest is automatically in default by law. Any reasonable collection and legal costs will be charged to the guest in accordance with the applicable legal rules.

We reserve the right to request a security deposit to cover possible damage.

Cancellation and no-show

If the guest cancels, 100% of the reservation amount is due.

In the event of a no-show, 100% of the reservation amount will also be charged.

If the reservation was made through an external booking platform, the cancellation must be processed through that platform.

In the event of force majeure on the side of the B&B, such as fire, government measures or other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. In that case, the guest will receive a refund of the amount paid or a voucher for the same value.

House rules

We kindly ask our guests to treat the accommodation, inventory and surroundings with respect.

Smoking is not allowed indoors. Smoking outside is of course permitted.

Our B&B is adults only and is not equipped for children.

Pets are not allowed.

The number of guests may never exceed the number stated in the reservation confirmation.

Parties or gatherings are not allowed.

If the house rules are violated, we reserve the right to terminate the stay immediately without refund of any amounts paid.

The lead booker is responsible for all fellow guests and must ensure that they are aware of these conditions.

Liability

The stay and the use of the accommodation and facilities are entirely at the guest's own risk.

The B&B is not liable for loss, theft or damage to guests' property, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of the B&B.

The B&B is only liable for direct damage that is the direct result of an attributable failure. Any liability for indirect damage or consequential loss is excluded.

If liability is established, it is limited to the amount paid out under the liability insurance, plus the applicable deductible.

Damage and loss

The guest is liable for damage caused to the accommodation or inventory during the stay.

We kindly ask that any damage be reported immediately so we can work together on an appropriate solution.

In the event of intentional damage or theft, a police report will be filed and the full repair or replacement costs will be charged.

If keys are lost, the full cost of replacing keys and locks will be charged.

Parking and bicycles

Parking and bicycle storage are entirely at your own risk.

The B&B is not liable for damage, loss or theft of vehicles or belongings unless there is intent or gross negligence.

Camera surveillance

Camera surveillance may be used on the outdoor grounds for the protection of guests and property.

Images are only used in the event of incidents and are processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

Breakfast

Do you have dietary requirements or allergies? Please let us know no later than 48 hours before arrival so we can take them into account.

Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 09:30.

Cleaning

For multi-day stays, interim cleaning can be arranged in consultation.

This is only done on request, so that we can respect your rest and privacy.
